Space4 Showcases Characterization, Tracking Expertise at Largest Aerospace R&D Event

The Space4 Center's Roberto Furfaro and postdoctoral research associate Andrea D’Ambrosio presented papers at the SciTech Forum, the largest event for aerospace research, development, and technology in the world. Their presentations earlier this month focused on the use of machine learning and neural networks to enhance the autonomy of aerospace systems, predict the brightness of space objects, and track and identify satellites in the geostationary orbit belt—all of which are critical to space situational awareness.
