Adam Battle

R&D Software Engineer

Adam graduated from the Ohio State University in 2015 with a Bachelor's of Science in Physics and Astronomy. He then moved to Dayton, OH, to work in the space situational awareness (SSA) industry, focusing primarily on GEO satellite photometry and telescope operations and engineering. Adam started a graduate program four years later at the University of Arizona. He received his PhD in planetary science in December 2024 and has joined the Space4 team full time. Adam's work focuses on photometry and spectroscopy used to characterize space objects and he has helped develop software pipelines for processing these data. As part of a workforce development program, he mentors and helps train undergraduate and graduate students from several disciplines on telescope operation, use of coding for research and overall research design and execution.
