Headshot of Thomas Joyce

Thomas Joyce is an undergraduate researcher working with the Reddy Research Group and the Space4 Center. He is double majoring in astronomy and physics with a minor in mathematics. His research includes the development of passive RF techniques for sustained tracking of resident space objects (RSOs) and cislunar objects. He worked with his colleagues to establish a 0.6-meter dish system for object tracking, develop a functional process for operation, and perform key measurement statistics for the system. Thomas' future work includes the refinement of astrometric accuracies with passive RF observations and the integration of two larger dishes into the observing network.
