All-Sky and Weather Monitoring
The Space4 Center monitors weather conditions at the Space Domain Awareness Observatory at Biosphere 2 near Oracle, Arizona, and at the RAPTORS-1 site at the University of Arizona campus on the Kuiper Space Sciences building in Tucson. Visit the pages below for current conditions.
Each site is equipped with an All-Sky camera to provide live imagining as well as weather sensing systems that records information like: ambient temperature, wind speed and direction, humidity, dew point, atmospheric pressure and sky brightness. You can see an example of this set up from the Raptors 1 observatory in the image below.
