Luca Ghilardi

Luca Ghilardi was born in Barga, Italy. He has earned his bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Pisa. In 2019 he also earned his master's degree in Space Engineering at Politecnico di Milano. Luca developed his master thesis in 2019 as a visiting student at The University of Arizona, where he then started his Ph.D. in Systems and Industrial Engineering in 2020. At the moment Luca is working in the Space Systems Engineering Laboratory as a Graduate Research Assistant. His areas of expertise are computer vision and deep learning for space guidance and navigation.
