Ryland Phipps is an undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering with a double minor in mathematics and mechanical engineering. His research encompasses passive radio frequency of cislunar artificial satellites for space situational awareness, mainly passive radio frequency observations for space object characterization. He is working on fully automating the system for the lab's passive RF systems and orbit determination from data collected from the RF dishes. In his spare time, you can find him taking astrophotography pictures when he isn't spending his free time at the local Barnes & Noble.
